Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
For JRF (Junior Research Fellow) Posts:
- Post 1: M.Tech/M.S in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering from IITs/Reputed Universities OR B.E/B.Tech in Computer/Electronics with NET/GATE qualification
- Post 2: M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology with knowledge in Python, AI techniques of ML/DL including semantic/vector Databases, LangChain AI, Django, Geo Server, Image Processing
- Post 3: M.Tech in Geomatics/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing and GIS/Geodesy degrees from recognized University OR B.E/B.Tech in related fields with NET/GATE
- Post 4: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology with 4+ years work experience OR M.Tech in same domain
- Post 6: M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with full Diploma certificate from ITI or diploma in Manufacturing/Machining/CAD working in private sector for at least 4 years
- Post 7: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent (Post Graduate such as Engineering with full Diploma certificate from ITI or working in private sector for at least 4 years with expertise in welding from a recognized University with NET/GATE or Ph.D in above discipline)
For RA (Research Associate) Posts:
- Post 2 (RA): M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years experience OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline
- Post 5 (RA): Ph.D. in Science stream and Post Graduation (M.Sc.) in Physics/Applied Physics or Computer or Mathematical Sciences/Physics or M.Tech in Computer or Computational and Simulation areas or M.Tech from IIT/IISc working on Radio Modulation subject with 4+ years experience
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP
- Experience in Python programming, AI techniques, LangChain AI, Django
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design/manufacturing/CAD/CIM/Automobile
- Good working knowledge in high-level programming languages such as Python, C/C++, JAVA, MATLAB
- Experience in electromagnetic spectrum analysis, Geo-Spatial data processing
- Knowledge of 3D/4D working in design, machining
- Expertise in welding from a recognized University with NET/GATE
Experience
- For certain posts: 4+ years of work experience in relevant domains
- Experience in private sector for manufacturing/machining/welding positions
- Research experience in relevant scientific domains
Salary/Stipend
- JRF (Junior Research Fellow): ₹31,000 per month plus HRA (for B.E/B.Tech with NET/GATE)
- JRF (with M.Tech): ₹37,000 per month plus HRA
- RA (Research Associate with M.Tech + 4 years exp): ₹37,000 per month plus HRA
- RA (Research Associate with Ph.D.): ₹67,000 per month plus HRA
- Note: HRA (House Rent Allowance) will be provided as per rules

General Information/Instructions
- Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the following positions in DGRE, Chandigarh
- The fellowship will be initially for one year duration, which may be extended up to three years based on performance and requirement

- Eligibility Conditions: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria as per DRDO/CSIR/DST norms are eligible to apply

- State of Nativity: Attested copy of NETGATE certificate and proof of age are mandatory
