Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Varies by department – Generally Master’s degree with 55% marks + NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. (as per UGC norms with exemptions); or B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech with first class for Engineering departments.
- Essential Qualification: (A) Master’s with 55% + NET/Ph.D. exemption conditions (including pre-2009 Ph.D. rules with publications, viva, etc.); or (B) Ph.D. from top 500 ranked foreign university (QS/THE/ARWU). Engineering: Relevant B.Tech/M.Tech first class.

Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 57,700/- (Rupees fifty seven thousand seven hundred only) per month.
- No residential accommodation, official transport, leave encashment or other allowances/facilities as admissible to regular employees.
- Entitled to 8 days leave on pro-rata basis in a calendar year.
