- Research Associate – I: Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Chemistry
- Project Associate – II (Material Sciences): M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics (Material Science) and one year Research Experience in Material Science
- Project Associate – I (Material Sciences): M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics (Material Science)
- Project Associate – I (Earth Sciences): M.Tech in Civil Engineering/Masters Degree in Agricultural Sciences/Masters Degree in Atmospheric Sciences
- Project Associate – I (Micro/Nano Satellite): M.Tech. in ECE (any specialization) with minimum of 55% marks
- Project Associate – I (Psychological Factors): M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology with minimum of 55% marks
- Project Associate – I (Herbal & Synthetic Drug): M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Immunology/Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks

Salary/Stipend
- Research Associate – I: Rs. 58,000 + HRA per month
- Project Associate – II: Rs. 33,000 + HRA per month

- Laboratory Assistant: Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 27,000 + HRA per month
- Project Fellow: Rs. 25,000 per month
- Technical Assistant: Rs. 15,000 per month
- Senior Project Associate (SPA): Rs. 58,000 + 10% HRA per month
- Project Associate – I(b) (PA-Ib): Rs. 30,000 + 10% HRA per month

- All positions are purely on temporary basis
- Tenure is initially until March 2026 with extendable up to one year based on the extension of the program and progress of the fellow
