Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Deputy Project Director): Post-graduate in Agriculture/Allied Sector. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial or supervisory capacity in Agriculture And Allied Sector/BTM having 5 years of experience is also eligible.
- Qualifications (Accountant cum Clerk): B. Com. Minimum 3 years’ Experience of Accountancy in a reputed organization.
- Qualifications (Computer Programmer): B. Tech in Computer Science or MCA. 1 year Experience for B. Tech and 2 years for MCA.
- Qualifications (Block Technology Manager): Post Graduate in Agriculture & Allied Sector with Computer Skills or Agri Graduate with minimum 5 years working experience as ATM. Minimum 2 years field experience in Agri related activities.
- Qualifications (Assistant Technology Manager): Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector)/Post Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector). Minimum 1 year Experience in Agri related activities.
- Candidates must hold the prescribed qualification and experience on the date of submission of their application.
Salary/Stipend
- Deputy Project Director: Rs. 52,000/- per month.
- Accountant cum Clerk: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
- Computer Programmer: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
- Block Technology Manager: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
- Assistant Technology Manager: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
- Selected candidates will be paid a fixed monthly remuneration only.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum age: 21 years for all posts.
- Maximum age for Deputy Project Director, Accountant cum Clerk and Computer Programmer: 40 years.
- Maximum age for Block Technology Manager and Assistant Technology Manager: 45 years.
- Age limit is calculated based on Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate.
Application Fee
- General category candidates: Rs 200/- (Rupees Two hundred) only.
- Reserved category candidates: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) only.
- No application fee is applicable for BPL and PWD candidates.
- Payment must be made online only.

Selection Process
- Selection process will be solely on the basis of merit and marks obtained in the OMR based written test.
- The OMR based examination will be held zone wise in Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Silchar, Bongaigaon.
- The test will be objective type with multiple choices of 100 Marks, having 100 questions each carrying 1 mark. There will be no negative marks.
- Duration of Examination will be of 3 hours.
- Selected candidates in the written test will have to appear before the verification Committees for verification of their original documents.
General Information/Instructions
- The engagement shall be purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, extendable further based on satisfactory performance and project continuation.
- Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the Govt Service in future.
- One candidate can apply against only one post, as examinations for all posts will be held on the same date & time.
- The list of candidates whose applications are found valid or rejected after scrutiny will be made available on the AAU website: www.aau.ac.in.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test.
- Selected candidates will be required to sign a Contract Agreement with the Department on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 20/-.
