Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject area of the concerned online programme with minimum 55% marks.
  • NET or Ph.D as per UGC ODL/OL Regulation 2020.
  • Degree obtained from Universities/Institutions outside the state of Kerala shall be accompanied by equivalency/eligibility certificate obtained from Mahatma Gandhi University.
  • Candidates under community reservation quota shall submit community certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the authorities concerned.
  • Candidates belonging to Differently Abled Category / EWS reservation should enclose the relevant certificate as per State Government criteria issued by the competent authority.
  • Non-Crea/my Layer Certificate need not be furnished by applicants belonging to SC and ST communities.
  • Natives of states other than Kerala need not apply for the post notified exclusively under the community reservation quota.

Salary / Stipend

  • Consolidated pay of 40,000/- per month.

Age Limit 

  • Maximum age 50 years as on 01.01.2026.
  • Relaxation in upper age limit permitted to eligible categories as per rules.

Selection Process

  • Selection through walk-in-interview at the Vice Chancellor’s Chamber as per the schedule given in the notification.

General Information / Instructions

  • The engagement will be purely on contract basis for a period of one year.
  • The selected candidates shall execute an agreement with the University as per the existing norms.
  • Candidates under the community reservation quota shall submit community certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the authorities concerned.
  • Candidates belonging to Differently Abled Category / EWS reservation should enclose the certificate concerned as per State Government criteria issued by the competent authority along with the application.
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate need not be furnished by applicants belonging to SC and ST communities.

  • All candidates must report one hour before the scheduled time of interview with duly filled proforma, original documents and one set of signed hard copies to prove age, community reservation, qualification, specialization, publications, experience and additional qualifications.

How to Apply

  • Interested candidates shall attend the walk-in-interview at the Vice Chancellor’s Chamber on the scheduled date and time.
  • Candidates should report one hour before the scheduled time of interview as mentioned in the notification.
  • Candidates should bring the duly filled proforma attached with the notification.
  • Candidates should bring original documents and one set of signed hard copies of documents to prove age, community reservation, qualification (mark list and degree certificates), specialization, equivalency/eligibility (if applicable), proof of UGC approved/peer reviewed journals, impact factor of published articles, experience certificate, awards, CGPA to percentage conversion proof and all other additional qualifications.
