- Walk-in-Interview Date: 08-01-2026 (Thursday), 10:00 hrs. to 12:00 hrs.
- Venue: Chief Medical Superintendent chamber, Railway Hospital, WCR/Jabalpur
WCR Recruitment 2026 Age Limit (as on 22-12-2026)
- Not exceeding 60 years of age as on the date of notification (22.12.2026).
- Age relaxation of 5 years is admissible for SC/ST Category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.
- The maximum age limit is 65 Years or 20 terms, whichever is earlier.
- For retired Government Doctors, age considered is up to 65 years as on the date of notification, subject to attaining the age limit of 67 years or 07 terms, whichever is earlier.
Qualification
- Qualifications: The candidates should be MBBS passed from a recognized university.
- Essential qualifications: Must have three years working experience OR be a Post graduate (MD or MS). Must possess a valid Registration Certificate of Indian Medical Council or any State Medical Councils of India after completion of one year compulsory Rotatory Internship.
- Desirable: Higher qualification will be given due preference.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience required for MBBS holders.
Salary
- A fixed remuneration of ₹36,900/- per month (including HRA & Transport Allowance) for four hours per day, six days in a week.
- Daily rate of deduction for absence in excess of eligibility is ₹1,230/- per day.
- For retired Railway/Government Doctors, the monthly remuneration (pension plus contractual remuneration) should not exceed the last pay drawn at the time of retirement.
- No Dearness or other allowances admissible to regular Railway Servants are applicable.
