Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold an MD in Radio-diagnosis.
- Indian citizens who fulfill the essential qualification are eligible to participate in the walk-in-interview.
Salary/Stipend
- Pay scale is as per institute rules.
- Estimated average annual salary for a Senior Resident at IGIMS ranges from ₹16.4 Lakhs to ₹24.5 Lakhs per year, with monthly take-home estimated between ₹1.29 Lakhs to ₹1.34 Lakhs.
Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025)
- Maximum age limit is 45 years as on December 31, 2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per State Government rules, i.e., 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for EBC/BC candidates, and 03 years for all categories of Female candidates.
Application Fee
- Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) for UR/EWS/BC candidate.
- Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred & Fifty) for SC/ST candidate.
- Fee is non-refundable and payable to the Director, IGIMS, Patna, in the form of a demand draft.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on bio-data and performance in the interview conducted by the selection committee of the institute.
- Candidates must produce all original relevant certificates at the time of the interview/document verification.

- Reservation benefit shall be applicable to Bihar State Domicile candidate only.
- Physically Handicapped candidates will receive the benefit of reservation and relaxation as per the rules of the Govt. of Bihar.
